Menuka Poudel: Amazing Story of a Blind Singer

Menuka Poudel was born on 16 October 1998 in Nepal. She was blind from birth, but never gave up her passion for music.

Menuka did her schooling at Durga Higher Secondary School, Jhapa.

Menuka started her musical journey by participating in various local and national singing competitions in Nepal.

She auditioned for the first season of Nepal Idol in 2017, where she impressed the judges with her powerful voice and emotional expressions.

Menuka reached the top 12 finalists in the show Nepal Idol and received praise from the audience and critics.

Menuka took her musical journey further by auditioning for India's biggest singing reality show, Indian Idol 14.
